What The Day Looks Like
Morning - look, learn, absorb
Watch a full model application demo. Take notes, ask questions, see the technique from start to finish before you touch a single foil.
Afternoon - hands-on, guided
Work on a mannequin head and recreate the look yourself, with Laura right there guiding you through it. Everything from the morning, put straight into practice.
You'll leave knowing:
- Low-light formulations
- Strategic foil placement, so you work more efficiently with zero overwhelm
- How to face-frame properly
- Creating seamlessly blended hair using a root shadow and global toning technique
- Social media tips for showcasing your work

Bring your round brush and dryer with you. Everything else - tools & products are supplied. A notebook and pen is handy too, if you like to take your own notes alongside the booklet.
Meet Your Educator
Laura is the founder of Aura The Salon in Birmingham, and has spent over 16 years building her name around one thing: soft, effortless, lived-in colour. She's Redken's 2025 Blonding Gloss Boss winner, and blonding is where she's most at home.
After years learning from some of the best in the industry, Laura started running her own education days, passing on the techniques and shortcuts that took her years to work out. Her workshops are hands-on and small by design. Questions are always welcome, and she'll be right there with you the whole way through.
